I created this look because I can actually breathe in this outfit and look good at the same time. What a better combination than a nice and easy outfit? Continue reading “Summer Casual Lookbook”
Trends change every season. The only thing that never goes out of style is a simple straight Kurta. The styling options for it are unlimited. Straight Kurta looks amazing with Pyjami, Salwar or even Palazzo. You can always team it up with a jacket or scarf to give it all new look. Key to select a right Kurta is to pick a one with the minimal work that could be little print or a nice detailing of the buttons on the neckline.
Summer outfit styling is really tricky. When the temperature rises the inner Fashionista starts to lose the battle against the comfort. The only thing that matters is soft fabric and ease. Indian outfits are outstanding, but when we add a pinch of western in it, the magnificent look is created. For me, latest trends are important but I won’t follow it until it suits my personality and makes me feel comfortable. I don’t want to just wear something to look cool while I am super uncomfortable with the silhouette or the work on the fabric.
For a casual get together or an evening party an Indo western drape looks so chic. The options are unlimited in the market. It comes up with a Top/Blouse, Palazzo/Pants with a stitched Dupatta/Pallu to drape. You can even create this look using your western wear along with a Dupatta. Styling a casual check trousers can be really tricky. You can style it in a casual as well as a semi-formal way. When it comes to an upper wear, Shirt or tank top looks good with the blazer to create a semi-formal look. While body suit gives a nice definition to the body structure and looks just classy. You can wear a body suit with both the blazer and the jacket. But body suits look just amazing and bold with the leather jacket. Continue reading “How To Style Check Trousers”
I have never seen anything prettier than a Lehenga. It makes you look tall, slim and stunning. Buying a Lehenga is always heavy on the pockets. Always pick a Lehenga with minimal work and the neutral or lighter shades, because they can be reused easily. I have bought this Golden Lehenga 3 years back & I have already worn in it different ways, as Golden can be teamed up with the black, red, pink, anything with the golden border on it. Team it up with the ethnic jacket, stole, dupatta to add the style. Continue reading “Different Ways To Style Your Lehenga”
I am already in love with Autumn, the weather is pleasant and the festive season is about to begin. Karwachauth, Dussehra, Diwali, and a bunch of other joyous festivals are going to colour all the greyness left by Monsoon. It’s all about family, traditions, laughter and ecstasy. Being a girl, I love to play dress up during traditional occasions. Ethnic fashion trends are always changing. For me fashion is all about styling the latest trends in a comfortable yet attractive way. Continue reading “Relaxed Festive Edit: Ft. Craftsvilla”
There is nothing as satisfying as slaying with comfort. The last thing I want to add in my look is discomfort and extra layers of accessories. The only mantra I follow is Less is more. A white tee never fails to give you a casual yet classic look. I am wearing a tee with the slogan on it, to add a little sass to my look. Teaming it up with a mesh pleated black skirt to give the extra edge to the style. Continue reading “A Casual And Classic Lookbook”
Rakhsha Bandhan is around the corner, but what to wear this year is something really hard to be answered. Most women prefer Indian ethnic wear for such occasions, but that would be too mainstream. So, I decided to do something with a silk scarf and my super comfy western dresses. When I looked at my shirt dress and scarf, the first thing that crossed my mind was Anushka Sharma’s Glam look at London Fashion Week. I do remember her look because I loved her look a lot. All it took was a google and keywords to find that look for me and I decided to recreate it without any second thoughts. Continue reading “Recreating Anushka Sharma Look This Raksha Bandhan”
Monsoon is the best time to slay your trench coat. You can team it up with your bodycon dress for a bold look, or just wear it with your favourite skinny jeans for the chic look. Trench coat looks really classy with heels. When it comes to the longer outer wear instead of flats, one should always go for the heels. But again, comfort lovers can go with a pair of white sneakers, for a casual look. But, Heels do add that extra edge to the look, a nice handbag can do the rest of the trick. Monsoon could be really harsh on the skin. Your skin gets all oily and sticky. A good Translucent powder can rescue your skin from all the excessive oiliness and make your makeup last longer. I was looking for a Translucent powder for the humid Monsoon weather and I came across the Sugar cosmetics recently launched All Set To Go Translucent powder so I decided to give it a try.
