Wishing You All A Happy Valentine’s Day In Advance.
Valentine’s day is all about Pinks and Reds. But there is no strict rule to be followed, it all depends on your comfort and preferences. I created 4 completely different looks using all different clothing items, depending upon the different needs and moods.
- Boss Babe: If you are a babe who loves to slay the blazers, then this look is just perfect for you. I am wearing a hot pink blazer with the black jumpsuit and paired my outfit with the black pointed flats to keep it comfortable yet classy. I am carrying a top handle mini bag to complete the look.
- Classy Chic: If floral and pinks are your thing, then this look is made for you. Wearing a midi length printed floral, flared dress with the nude pink heels. Added a pop of colour with the clutch. And completed my look with a gold watch with a pink dial.
- Go Glam: I love layering, it gives the variation to your outfit and makes it look amazing. I am wearing my pink sweater/top and paired it up with the black palazzo. Tugged the corner of sweater in, to make it look chic. Teaming it up with pink accessories while keeping the rest of the clothing black. Layering it with an Overcoat just adds that extra glam to this look.
- Cool Casual: Comfort is all you care about? Then, you gotta try this look. All you need is a comfortable palazzo along with a cold shoulder top to add that Valentine vibes to it. Teaming my outfit with the nude heels and a blue handbag.
I have never seen anything prettier than a Lehenga. It makes you look tall, slim and stunning. Buying a Lehenga is always heavy on the pockets. Always pick a Lehenga with minimal work and the neutral or lighter shades, because they can be reused easily. I have bought this Golden Lehenga 3 years back & I have already worn in it different ways, as Golden can be teamed up with the black, red, pink, anything with the golden border on it. Team it up with the ethnic jacket, stole, dupatta to add the style. Continue reading “Different Ways To Style Your Lehenga”
There is nothing as satisfying as slaying with comfort. The last thing I want to add in my look is discomfort and extra layers of accessories. The only mantra I follow is Less is more. A white tee never fails to give you a casual yet classic look. I am wearing a tee with the slogan on it, to add a little sass to my look. Teaming it up with a mesh pleated black skirt to give the extra edge to the style. Continue reading “A Casual And Classic Lookbook”
Rakhsha Bandhan is around the corner, but what to wear this year is something really hard to be answered. Most women prefer Indian ethnic wear for such occasions, but that would be too mainstream. So, I decided to do something with a silk scarf and my super comfy western dresses. When I looked at my shirt dress and scarf, the first thing that crossed my mind was Anushka Sharma’s Glam look at London Fashion Week. I do remember her look because I loved her look a lot. All it took was a google and keywords to find that look for me and I decided to recreate it without any second thoughts. Continue reading “Recreating Anushka Sharma Look This Raksha Bandhan”
Monsoon is the best time to slay your trench coat. You can team it up with your bodycon dress for a bold look, or just wear it with your favourite skinny jeans for the chic look. Trench coat looks really classy with heels. When it comes to the longer outer wear instead of flats, one should always go for the heels. But again, comfort lovers can go with a pair of white sneakers, for a casual look. But, Heels do add that extra edge to the look, a nice handbag can do the rest of the trick. Ethnic dresses never fail to stand out. The options in the traditional wear are unlimited and it’s really important to choose the right kurta style for your body type. The kurta styles like Anarkali and ankle length A-Line are the best for a party or get together. The Straight long kurta and Knee length kurta is best for the casual look. Waist length kurta can be teamed up with the jeans or palazzo for the Indo-Western look. Continue reading “Ethnic Kurta Guide For Your Body Type”
My favorite casual look includes a black tee with an denim jeans and a grey handbag. The key to slay any Summer look is keeping the bling to minimal. I am wearing just a golden watch and a pair of golden earrings to keep it minimal. The monochrome and simplicity always results in the elegance. When in doubt, wear the neutral colors like black, white or grey! These shades are easy to play with and you always get the unlimited style options. You can team up all the neutral colors with your favorite denim for the casual look or you can also team the neutral shades with other neutrals to keep it modish or just team it up with the bright shades to add the extra edge to a look. When it comes to the dressing up, I hate to compromise on my comfort. Especially, during Summer ease has always been my priority. When we talk about the Summer party dresses, the jumpsuit is my first pick. Because one can never overdo with the nice solid-colored jumpsuit. While choosing the jumpsuit the safest bet is going for the shades like black, blue or white. Because you can always reuse your dress without being noticed. Change the shrug, jacket, accessories and you can achieve a new look. Continue reading “Summer Party-Ready : Lookbook”
Fashion changes drastically, but Ethnic never goes out of fashion. No matter how many outfits I style or own, my heart will always have a soft corner for the traditional outfits. Summer fashion is just incomplete without the prints. When it comes to the ethnic outfits you can find all the range of the prints from floral to geometric. The easiest way to carry prints is wearing it with the solid colours. When you team up the different prints together, the outfit always turns out to be chic, it can be little tricky, but when you play in the similar shades, then it always turns out to be magnificent.
