Summer outfit styling is really tricky. When the temperature rises the inner Fashionista starts to lose the battle against the comfort. The only thing that matters is soft fabric and ease. Indian outfits are outstanding, but when we add a pinch of western in it, the magnificent look is created. For me, latest trends are important but I won’t follow it until it suits my personality and makes me feel comfortable. I don’t want to just wear something to look cool while I am super uncomfortable with the silhouette or the work on the fabric.
For a casual get together or an evening party an Indo western drape looks so chic. The options are unlimited in the market. It comes up with a Top/Blouse, Palazzo/Pants with a stitched Dupatta/Pallu to drape. You can even create this look using your western wear along with a Dupatta.
- DIY: Use your western wear as a base that means your pants, palazzo, jeans can act as a perfect western base. Then team it up with a crop top, Top, Shirt, blouse to finish the western bit of the outfit. Then time to add the Indian twist to the look. Take a Dupatta/Saree with a border and drape it starting from the left side of the waist and then wrap it around from the back and pin it up on the left shoulder. Jumpsuit can also do the trick. Wear a fitted jumpsuit underneath and drape a Dupatta around your waist.

- How To Style: The key to slay such outfit is keeping it minimal. Wear a minimal jewellery with a pair of nude heels. Especially, during the summer try to keep your makeup natural. A nice handbag can do the trick. Or you can keep it simple to let your outfit do all the talking.
