Indo western is my favorite kind of the look. The saree over the legging or dhoti is just unbeatable. No matter the occasion, you are never overdressed or underdressed with an Indo Western outfit. When it comes to a saree I am really doubtful about carrying myself in that, but draping a dupatta over a legging like a saree is way too comfortable and light. It makes a perfect summer chic outfit. It is easy to carry and you look like a diva in it. All it takes is a pair of heels to slay any kind of occasion.
Love your work, but first of all you have to love yourself. Life is not perfect, but your outfit can be. This season is all about vintage trends like Flared jeans, pastels, ruffles. I am wearing an Exaggerate Bow Tie Neck Ruffle Trim Top in the pastel blue shade. I really love the way it stands out. It can be easily paired with any formal trouser or pencil skirt.
Being a girl I grew up dreaming about the Prince Charming coming on a white horse. That dream always had a clear picture of the Princess gown I will be wearing with the glass sandals. I know that sounds cliche, but one must never compromise with the wedding dreams. Finding that perfect outfit can be really tricky. It takes an open mind who will understand exactly what your dream gown looks like. Continue reading “The Gown To Slay Your Engagement Like A Queen”
Golden color is trending this Summer for Western wear and Indian wear. If you have any wedding function to attend, Golden is the color to slay the occasion. It is a bold color with the ability to stand out. Gown, Suit, Lehenga everything is available in golden. When we talk about the Summer trends 2018: crop top, off-shoulders are trending at the moment. So, I decided to give my look a twist by replacing all the options of ethnic wear by crop top (heavy blouse) with a skirt (Lehenga). Continue reading “Slay The Wedding Function In Golden!”
Picking the right ethnic piece could be really tricky. The design and comfort rarely match. Especially, during Summer, I find it really hard to select the right piece, that will be soft against my skin and be chic at the same time. Crop top with dhoti, kurti with pant or drape gown is the life saver during this season. But when it comes to making a statement to a party, the drape gowns are unbeatable. The Indo-western look you can achieve with the minimal work and comfort is something Significant. Continue reading “My Summer Ethnic Pick: Drape Gown”
Pastel is always perfect for any kind of occasion. It beholds the elegance and style. When it comes to choosing the colors, Pink is my happy color. Pastel pink always makes me feel confident. Because I know it always slays. Choosing the right traditional wear can be really tricky. You have to choose the right embroidery for the right occasion, where the shade makes a huge difference. When in doubt, wear something with the thread work. No matter what the occasion is or what is the exact time of the day, you can never go wrong with the thread embroidery. When it comes to the casual wear, I have most of my ethnic collection in black or white thread embroidery. White and black are the only two shades that make any outfit look classic. During Summer, light shades look more appealing as compared to the brighter ones.
Being a Fashion blogger, I get to try all the kinds of silhouette, but there is something really special about an ethnic wear that always leaves a great impression on my work. Punjabi suits are something always on the top of my list that includes the Patiala Salwar with short kurti and a dupatta. No matter how fashionable you are or how many outfits you own or which brand you prefer; when it comes to being yourself one always chooses the roots of his/her existence. I am from Punjab and no matter where I go, I always have that soft corner for the Punjabi attires. Continue reading “Being Punjaban”
Being a kid, I was obsessed with bows and pink. I remember the time when I used to wear those cute dresses with the bow on the back or on the neck. Fashion goes around in a cycle, what went out of fashion will come back today or tomorrow. Trends keep on changing every season, it is what makes it more interesting and fun.
I have a never ending love for the pastels. Pastel Blue and pink have been my all time favorite. They never fail to give you an elegant look with the classy touch at the same time. When it comes to the summer I prefer lighter shades over the brighter ones. I feel the Punjab’s burning weather makes bright colors look even brighter during the sunlight. So I mostly go with the lighter shades, but pastels are the best replacement for the bold shades. Continue reading “Pastels & Ruffles”
