I am already in love with Autumn, the weather is pleasant and the festive season is about to begin. Karwachauth, Dussehra, Diwali, and a bunch of other joyous festivals are going to colour all the greyness left by Monsoon. It’s all about family, traditions, laughter and ecstasy. Being a girl, I love to play dress up during traditional occasions. Ethnic fashion trends are always changing. For me fashion is all about styling the latest trends in a comfortable yet attractive way. Continue reading “Relaxed Festive Edit: Ft. Craftsvilla”
There is nothing as satisfying as slaying with comfort. The last thing I want to add in my look is discomfort and extra layers of accessories. The only mantra I follow is Less is more. A white tee never fails to give you a casual yet classic look. I am wearing a tee with the slogan on it, to add a little sass to my look. Teaming it up with a mesh pleated black skirt to give the extra edge to the style. Continue reading “A Casual And Classic Lookbook”
Rakhsha Bandhan is around the corner, but what to wear this year is something really hard to be answered. Most women prefer Indian ethnic wear for such occasions, but that would be too mainstream. So, I decided to do something with a silk scarf and my super comfy western dresses. When I looked at my shirt dress and scarf, the first thing that crossed my mind was Anushka Sharma’s Glam look at London Fashion Week. I do remember her look because I loved her look a lot. All it took was a google and keywords to find that look for me and I decided to recreate it without any second thoughts. Continue reading “Recreating Anushka Sharma Look This Raksha Bandhan”
Monsoon is the best time to slay your trench coat. You can team it up with your bodycon dress for a bold look, or just wear it with your favourite skinny jeans for the chic look. Trench coat looks really classy with heels. When it comes to the longer outer wear instead of flats, one should always go for the heels. But again, comfort lovers can go with a pair of white sneakers, for a casual look. But, Heels do add that extra edge to the look, a nice handbag can do the rest of the trick. When it comes to the dressing up, I hate to compromise on my comfort. Especially, during Summer ease has always been my priority. When we talk about the Summer party dresses, the jumpsuit is my first pick. Because one can never overdo with the nice solid-colored jumpsuit. While choosing the jumpsuit the safest bet is going for the shades like black, blue or white. Because you can always reuse your dress without being noticed. Change the shrug, jacket, accessories and you can achieve a new look. Continue reading “Summer Party-Ready : Lookbook”
Fashion changes drastically, but Ethnic never goes out of fashion. No matter how many outfits I style or own, my heart will always have a soft corner for the traditional outfits. Summer fashion is just incomplete without the prints. When it comes to the ethnic outfits you can find all the range of the prints from floral to geometric. The easiest way to carry prints is wearing it with the solid colours. When you team up the different prints together, the outfit always turns out to be chic, it can be little tricky, but when you play in the similar shades, then it always turns out to be magnificent.
Summer season Lookbook should always be minimal with a bling. Pastels, white and tangerine are the perfect summer colors. I have a special place for white shade in my heart. You can always reuse any white outfit by pairing it up with the denim, shrug or just a stole. Summer goddess look can’t be achieved without a maxi dress, and that too in a snow white shade. The maxi works for almost all of the body types. Whether you are curvy or skinny, tall or short you can always slay a maxi dress and a little bling never hurt. I am wearing a maxi dress with a golden neck line and a belt around the waist.
Indo western is my favorite kind of the look. The saree over the legging or dhoti is just unbeatable. No matter the occasion, you are never overdressed or underdressed with an Indo Western outfit. When it comes to a saree I am really doubtful about carrying myself in that, but draping a dupatta over a legging like a saree is way too comfortable and light. It makes a perfect summer chic outfit. It is easy to carry and you look like a diva in it. All it takes is a pair of heels to slay any kind of occasion.
