Indo western is my favorite kind of the look. The saree over the legging or dhoti is just unbeatable. No matter the occasion, you are never overdressed or underdressed with an Indo Western outfit. When it comes to a saree I am really doubtful about carrying myself in that, but draping a dupatta over a legging like a saree is way too comfortable and light. It makes a perfect summer chic outfit. It is easy to carry and you look like a diva in it. All it takes is a pair of heels to slay any kind of occasion.

Guide To Drape:

First of all pick, a dupatta with the minimum transparency. You can’t achieve this look with a dupatta made up of fabrics like Net, polyster. The cotton and banarasi dupatta is perfect for such style, because the transparency is zero with it and it is easy to carry it with a legging. You don’t want your legging to go all visible because that seriously doesn’t give a nice look.

Now, you have to finalize a matching legging and a crop top with your dupatta. You can even drape it around a jumpsuit if you like. I am wearing it with a white ankle length net legging and ruffled rust top, that matches the border of the dupatta. Now all you have to do is tug a corner of dupatta in left front of the legging and secure with the pin. Now make the plates of the other end of the dupatta for the pallu and drape it around your waist. Now Place the pallu on the left shoulder and secure with a pin. You can keep the pallu open using one pin to secure it on the shoulder, or you can secure the plates of the pallu first, then fix it on the shoulder to give it a cleaner look.
