The Golden Thread: Ethnic Story Of Summer

When in doubt, wear something with the thread work. No matter what the occasion is or what is the exact time of the day, you can never go wrong with the thread embroidery. When it comes to the casual wear, I have most of my ethnic collection in black or white thread embroidery. White and black are the only two shades that make any outfit look classic. During Summer, light shades look more appealing as compared to the brighter ones.

Being Punjaban

Being a Fashion blogger, I get to try all the kinds of silhouette, but there is something really special about an ethnic wear that always leaves a great impression on my work. Punjabi suits are something always on the top of my list that includes the Patiala Salwar with short kurti and a dupatta. No matter how fashionable you are or how many outfits you own or which brand you prefer; when it comes to being yourself one always chooses the roots of his/her existence. I am from Punjab and no matter where I go, I always have that soft corner for the Punjabi attires. Continue reading “Being Punjaban”

Must Visit In Jalandhar Ft. Prithvi Planet

When it comes to the food, Punjabi’s know how to be selective. The balance between the Ambience and the Food is something only few can master. I have been to most of the places in Jalandhar. I love few for the food, and others for the ambience. The options are unlimited but if you are looking for a quality time, nothing can beat Prithvi Planet. Pearls And Pastels- Traditional Affair

Every girl must own at least one outfit with the pearls. Pearls are one of the safest bet when it comes to the style with elegance. Heavy Dupatta with the comfortable Kurti is the latest trend. All it takes is a highlighting Dupatta to flaunt. I picked up the suit in pastel shade with the white thread embroidery all over it. The detailing  of pearls to complement the beautifully made antique border is something to die for.  Continue reading “Pearls And Pastels- Traditional Affair “

Haveli Amritsar

Today, I was at Amritsar. On the way back I was starving and saw Haveli. The sight of it made my mouth water. I couldn’t help but pull the emergency brakes to go and grab tastiest food ever. I love the taste of traditional food and that was it.

But when I entered it, I literally forgot about my hunger and couldn’t help but admire the art in front of me. Every detailing was just beautiful and perfect. I felt like being transported to the old times, where we had beautiful art on the wall and those utensils…. I couldn’t  help, but admire. Continue reading “Haveli Amritsar”
