The use of dirty makeup brushes can lead to acne, skin irritation, conjunctivitis, wrinkles, clogged pores, etc. Timely cleaning of the brushes is the crucial part of beauty routine.
I prefer to wash all my makeup brushes twice a month and most of the time I keep it on Sunday. It takes maximum 5 minutes to clean all my brushes and I prefer to let them dry naturally. All you need is a mild shampoo and lukewarm water for the cleaning of your brushes.
- Clean The Bristles Of Brush Under Tap : Turn the water on and let the bristles be cleaned with fresh water. The dry makeup can easily be removed in this way. This step is also required to wet the brushes before shampoo.
- Mild Shampoo : Pour a drop of the mild shampoo on the silicone brush cleaner and gently rub your brush on it to clean it. In case you don’t have the brush, you can add the shampoo in water and swirl your brush in the water.
- Rinse Under Water : Take the brush out of shampoo and rinse it under the water tap, while massaging gently using your fingers or you can even rub it gently on the silicone brush cleaner.
- Pat Dry & Reshape : Use a soft towel or cloth to wrap around the brush and pat dry to take out the excess water. Reshape the bristles and let them dry naturally.
